The Paschen style of furniture-making personifies this traditional craft in its original guise. We stay true to the time-honoured traditions of exalted cabinet-making, which means that all our furniture and interior fittings and features are devised, designed and built in tune with authentic historical documents. When used to describe the Paschen method of cabinet-making, the phrase, "a unique piece of furniture", enters a whole new dimension of quality. During the entire process of creating their furniture, the Paschen woodwork specialists adhere, for the most part, to genuine historical models, examples of which can still be viewed today in museums and galleries, in monasteries, manor-houses and castles. The result is that commissioned work gives rise to wonderful creations - libraries, interior fittings and stand-alone pieces of furniture that are all amazingly authentic in their style.
A spectacularly beautiful example of such work is the library extension performed for The Holy Father in the Vatican. This exclusive piece of Paschen workmanship was modelled on sketches found in the University Library of The Hague, dating from the 17th century.
