The study in question can be found in Berlin in a historic villa dating back to the Gründerzeit, the Founding Epoch in German history. This splendid villa is a listed building. It was simply one element of a door that served as the model for the building of the library. All the work was then performed in the Paschen ateliers and workshops in Wadersloh. Even the shade chosen was determined by using a RAL colour chart. Arches and ornamentation were taken from existing patterns and designs. The precise shade is a historical Antique White, which has been matched exactly. The room is not particularly large but nevertheless possesses a wealth of striking features. The dimensions and the layout create a constellation reminiscent of "The Good Old Days" and take the room's architectural aspect and storage requirements into equal account.
