The company of Paschen is featured in the book entitled, "From The Best Families", published by Florian Langenscheidt in 2008. The book catalogues 100 exemplary family-run businesses to be found in Germany. And it is no coincidence that Paschen is amongst the ranks of these model family businesses. Firstly, as already mentioned, the company is still being run by the family in the fifth generation and secondly, it still today bears the hallmarks, so typical of a family business: love of and passion for one's own product, close-knit relations with the staff, rapid decision-making processes, courage to push through innovations and shareholders who attach more importance to the positive development of the company than to the gaining of maximum profits.
